Alexia is the lookout. Of course: her father is the lighthouse keeper! It’s just that Alexia is rather head-in-air, but what do you expect when you sleep sixty feet above the ground? Alexia always seems a bit wacky, both in appearance and her interests. She loves wind instruments, especially the foghorn, which she sometimes uses to alert her friends to danger. However, she also plays the marine trumpet: a sort of weird looking, one-string violin. It goes without saying that she is often the object of Brent’s gibes, but most of the time Alexia doesn’t even notice because, once again, she’s got her head in the clouds! Maybe that’s why she’s so fond of astronomy and can make her way by the stars, just as pirates used to do.
